40 weeks

Sunday we hit 40 weeks, Monday was our due date (Nov 10th) and Tuesday we had our doctors appointment. Tuesday morning I woke up at about 2:30 AM from my stomach hurting. I thought I was probably just hungry and if I ate it would pass. Well I ended up having horrible cramps till about 4 AM! I was balling they were so horrible. I tried Tylenol, hot shower, changing positions from laying down, kneeling, all fours, sitting you name it. Since we weren't sure what was going on we decided to go in. All they did was monitor me and Graysen and check to see if I was dilating during the hour we were there. We have two kind of luck bad luck and no luck. So of course we were sent home Its frustrating I feel my body is only doing half of its job. Its contracting but not dilating. BLAH. They did give me some morphine phenergan (I think that's how its spelled) to help with the pain and to help me sleep. I'm a pretty deep sleeper but when  they gave me that I was OUT COLD! What sucked was we didn't leave the hospital till 6 AM then had to get up  for our 40 week appointment by 8AM. Poor John. He was such a trooper getting me to and from places when I was zonked out. Doctors appointment went well. We had a N.P do our appointment which was fine since it was a quick checkup. Still dilated to a 2 and was effaced 70-80% so just a tiny bit more then last week effacement wise. His heartbeat was strong and all my vitals were good. So now its just the waiting game till he arrives. They have me down for induction for this weekend. We will go in Sunday night to start medicine that will help thin my cervix more then will start pitocin early Monday morning. They don't want me to go past Tuesday so we know he will be here for sure by then! So there you have it. We will keep ya posted if anything new happens!

I also cut off my hair for the millionth time! What a great pick me up!

39 week update! Getting close!

WHAT!?!? 39 weeks! We are getting so close people! Again with this post a lot of girly body parts so stop reading now if you don't care to read about it.

We were supposed to have our appointment yesterday but they had to switch to today. We had Dr Rees again who we LOVE. Same guy as last time. My blood pressure was good and like always I turned around when they weighed me because I would rather not know the number. I'm measuring at 39 weeks and babies HB is strong. He didn't tell us the number but that its nice and healthy. He is still head down and has dropped. I'm dilated to a 2!!!!! WHAT! I'm just happy I'm not at a 1 anymore. YAY! The painful contractions are actually doing something. I'm also effaced 70% when last time I was at a 50%. I'm so glad that my body knows what to do and is doing it naturally. More it does on its own less I have to do once in labor at the hospital. I asked the Doctor if he could go ahead and swipe my membranes. He said lets see where I was dilated to first because if I'm still at a 1 it doesn't make sense to swipe them. He made it clear that sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't but it doesn't hurt to try. Since I was at a 2 he went ahead and swiped them. For those of you who don't know what swiping membranes is its when the doctor makes a swiping movement into your cervix to try separate the amniotic sac from the cervix . Now it can help induce labor but no guarantees. Then he joked and said to go walk around Wal-Mart because every woman whose membranes he did swipe had their water brake at Wal-Mart. Bleeding, cramping and contractions can come on afterwards and is normal. Then before we left Dr Rees said he is on call tomorrow so go into labor tomorrow. Ha Ha! We sure do like him as a doctor.

Our induction date is still set for the 17th. Go in the night of the 16th and be officially induced the morning of he 17th. Dr Rees says he doubts I will make it that long. But he also said that we will see cause like we REALLY know when he is going to arrive its just what he thinks. So there you have it! ALL good news! Like I said just happy I'm not at a 1 anymore. Probably gonna do some walking today to try and get things going! Fingers crossed.

38 weeks

Sunday we hit 38 weeks. Had our doctors appointment with Dr Jacob. We had him I think on our 12 week apt. Nothing has changed since last time. Still dilated 1 CM and still effaced 50%. My belly is measuring at 38 weeks and BP looks good. Whats frustrating is I'm having contractions but feel they aren't doing anything when I find out I'm still at a 1. *sigh* Pregnancy is so weird.
Graysen's due date is Nov 10th and I'm planned to be induced the night of the 16th (sadly they don't induce on Saturdays) unless he comes naturally or the doctor feels we need to induce earlier for some reason. REALLY? Can he just come today?!?!?! I really don't want to be pregnant THAT long. Its hard because you don't really know when they are coming. I'm just done being pregnant. Some of you may think thats horrible to say but really I just want him here. Carpel tunnel, not being able to sleep, NOTHING to wear etc etc I'm just tired of it all. We are just ready to meet our little guy! Maybe I will do some more walking to get things going.
I'm very thankful for John. This last month of pregnancy has been the hardest. It was been so easy that when its hard it seems even harder. I have been sssooo moody and whiny. Just a pain to put up with I'm sure. He has been so supportive and caring and I just love him so much more for that. He is going to be such a great Dad!
I also have our maternity pictures up and will load them soon! Keep checking back!

NST and fluid levels

Yesterday  we had two tests done. One was a non-stress test (NST) to monitor his heat beat. Then did an ultrasound just to measure his amniotic fluid and if he had created any more. Now amniotic fluid can vary from the position of the baby, its divided into 4 quadrants and measured in pockets. Last Tuesday  he was an 8 (lower but safe) and today 13! WHOO HOO! Way to go Graysen. We then monitored his heartbeat. I  was strapped to two monitors to my belly the same ones you use in labor and delivery. His heartbeat was in the 150's which is healthy! I even had some contractions during the monitoring and his heart rate was fine during those too. They then wanted to do another ultrasound to look at his heart so we changed rooms and got to watch his heartbeat on the big screen vs the tiny computer monitor. Heart looks nice and strong on that ultrasound too! His amniotic fluid was showing 11 which like I said can vary even on babies position. He is still head down and they noticed he does have hair on his head. HOW CUTE! Now when your 37 weeks pregnant everything is so squished that its hard to look at too many details. They did say I was measuring 5 days early  and that he was weighing in at 7 lbs 8 oz and we think we saw 15" long. Give or take a pound on his weight. We have our regular checkup next Tuesday and then another NST that day as well. They just want to make sure nothing has changed and that everything is still looking healthy. So there you go! We are so happy he is doing well in there and can't wait to meet the lil guy!

37 weeks update and hospital stay

Ok I'm gonna to warn you this post is going to include girly body parts, bodily fluids and a lot of well pregnancy Momma stuff so if any of that bothers you I would stop reading aboutttt......now.

Hit 37 weeks Sunday and had our weekly apt Tuesday. We had a new Dr this time. Dr Rees and once again really liked him! Super outgoing. So far only one doctor that we don't care for. Luckily the Dr's are really only there to catch. He came in and did the usual. Measuring exactly at 37 weeks and still dilated at 1 CM. Cervix has thinned out some more. Was 50% effaced last appointment. My vitals were good and everything looked great. He did push on my belly to again make sure he was head down which he still is but when he did he said "Whoa that is a good size kid in there!" My family tends to have big sized babies so not surprised by that at all. He was able to feel the head which I do think is so cool that they can.

A little bit after the appointment John had said something that made us laugh and I literally thought I had peed my pants. I looked at him like "uummmmmm I think I just pissed my pants" I thought its was nothing. Just the usual pregnancy laughing leak so I just sorta shrugged it off. We came home because we still had time before John's train left. So we came home and I noticed I was still really wet from earlier . Went ahead and changed and decided to take a quick nap. Fell right asleep and about half and hour later woke up to more watery liquid. Looked at John and said "Uumm I think my water broke" he looked at me like "Wait really?" so I changed again so I was dry to see if I continued to leak. Did leak some more and thought okay we should probably go in. Our nurse at our pre-natal class said "When it doubt get checked out" so we decided to follow that advice and head in. I mean worse they can say is " Your crazy and just peed your pants" so I packed some essentials and off we went. We got to the hospital and headed to labor and delivery. After registering we got our own room and changed to the oh so lovely hospital gowns. I had just changed in the bathroom and John suggested we say a prayer. So right there standing on the cold hospital floor in my oh so flattering night gown we said a prayer. The power of prayer is amazing and calmed us both down. Nurse Chrissy I believe her name was came and and hooked me up to the monitors. One for my heart beat and one for Graysen's. She asked us a ton of questions (cause of Ebola etc) and then started testing. First test was one where they get a swab and wipe it on a PH paper to see how alkaline the fluid that is leaking is. Amniotic fluid is very alkaline so the paper should turn blue if amniotic fluid is leaking. She wasn't able to get an accurate reading so decided to let us hang out a little longer (so more fluid would leak) and do test #2. During that time we took this lovely photo. In case Graysen was going to make his debut today we wanted at least a couple photos.
I'm just gonna say it at least my hair is curled and was looking fairly decent. haha
Look at that HUGE BELLY!

So she came back in and did test #2. She used this metal crank looking tool that John said looked liked was from the mid evil era. It was pretty much to open me up while she swipes the inside for a sample to look under a microscope. This test was PAINFUL! I made sure John was right next to me holding my hand the entire time. Now whenever I have contractions John always says "Your Okay, Your Okay" I told him he needs to find some new encouraging words like "Your doing awesome, or keep breathing you got this" he started joking that he started to sound like Juan Pablo from the Bachelor. "Es Okay"
The nurse came back and had talked to Doctor Bennett and she wanted us to do an ultrasound to check my fluid levels. So I got to sit in this ridiculous looking wheelchair and get hauled down stairs to the ultrasound rooms. I have a picture of me in the wheelchair but I look so ridiculous I'm not even gonna post it. Ha ha. So John, the nurse Christy and the ultrasound tech and I are all in the room watching the screen. They divide your belly into four quadrants and measure the fluid from there. I did loose amniotic fluid but still in the safe zone as far as fluid goes. I'm on the lower end but baby is still safe. At a level 8 and 5 is danger zone. After that ultrasound I was like "OH MY GOSH IM NOT CRAZY!" Just confirmed that I didn't pee my pants. The results from the 2 test did come back before the ultrasound but wasn't 100% clear which is why we headed to the ultrasound. Anyways. We headed back to the room and the nurse left again to talk to the doctor onto weather I stay or head home. We ended up heading home which we weren't too surprised but I do have to watch any leaking that may occur. Consistency and amount. We don't want to keep going in every hour every day and get turned away. So like I said watch for the amount and consistency of the fluid I do leak. They are going to have me come in next week for a non stress test and to check my amniotic fluids again.

So there you have it! Kinda crazy but we are doing well and enjoying some Netflix. Laying low just until he decides to make his grand arrival!

Maternity Photos

My very talented cousin Alexi took our maternity pics for us. 1 day shy of 36 weeks. Here are just some! Enjoy!

36 Week update!

4 weeks till his due date!! Okay well really we don't know when he is coming. Could be today or could be at 42 weeks. He picks his birthday but still we are close! We went in today and had a new doctor. Doctor Dabling. We really liked her. She was very clam and answered all our questions. Here is what is going on with Momma and Baby

BABY
Head is still down prepping for his grand arrival
HB 140-144
Still active as ever.

MOMMA:
Vitals, weight gain etc all stable and normal
Effaced 50% (For those of you who don't know effacement is how thin my cervix is)
Dilated 1 CM! I am just excited that I am dilated to at least something! Now a woman can walk around dilated to a certain CM for months. I'm hoping that I continue to progress! Less work for me when I'm in true labor.Coolest part was that when she checked to see what I was dilated to SHE COULD FEEL HIS HEAD! Gets me even more excited! Craving apples with apples and peanut butter, pretzels and string cheese. He is still as active as usual.

Next appointment is one week from today!

34 Weeks!

Had our doctors appointment this morning. Next appointment is in 2 weeks and its every week from there! Holy crap! EEEEE!

MOMMA:
Blood Pressure is good.
Have gained a total of 30 lbs. Doctor Thorpe said 30-35 total is just fine.
They took a urine sample to check for protein and tests came back normal
Keep up on my water intake to help with swelling
Same thing as last time. Lay down when I can to keep swelling down.
Still have bad carpel tunnel which sucks especially at work! But will go away once he is here.
Been having Braxton Hicks still. Not a ton but they aren't comfortable at all. He says I will probably have them more at work then anywhere. He isn't worried about them. Just my body prepping for delivery.

BABY BOY
Heartbeat 145 - we have noticed every other week it's in the 40's and the other weeks in the 30's. Like I have said before anything between 117-160 is healthy
Measuring at 34 weeks which is right where I'm supposed to be!
Found out the baby weighs 4 1/2 - 5 lbs and should be an average size baby when he arrives.
Doctor Thorpe also wanted to make sure he wasn't breech so he pushed really hard down on my lower part of my stomach to make sure he could feel his head. He is head down which is where he is supposed to be but the pressure from him pushing kinda give me a tummy ache and feels sore but that pains should go away. Hurts mostly when I walk.Just not use to having my tummy pushed on.

Hope that wasn't boring for you all. Next appointment is October 14th. I will keep ya posted.

32 weeks appointment update!

Went to the doctors yesterday. Here is an update on whats going on with momma and baby.

MOMMA: My BP and weight are fine. Just continue to eat healthy.. I do have carpel tunnel in my right hand due to swelling. My thumb, index and middle go numb and are numb pretty much all day. Hard to cut hair with numb hands! Because of my swelling the doctor doesn't want the swelling turn into toxemia/pre-clampsia so to avoid it from turning into that  he said that every chance I get to lay on my left side which will help the swelling go down. Besides that momma is doing great!

BABY:
HB 133
Measuring where he is supposed to and doctor said he is nice and healthy
Will gain half a pound each week here on out.

It was a quick visit and we loved Dr Wolsey. My appointment are now every 2 weeks until 36 weeks then will go weekly. Weekly appointments the doctor will check for any dialation! Holy crap he is going to be here sooner then we think! Due date is November 10th, latest they will induce me is the 17th. Really hoping to induce naturally and not be induced by the doctor but we will see how things pan out!

Keep ya posted!
XOXO

32 weeks. 8 to go!

Wow! Time flies!  Can't believe we only have 8 weeks left and that's if he arrives on time. John and I had a 5 hour pre-natal class Saturday. That's right 5 hours. It actually was very informative! We went over when to admit to the hospital, contractions, epidurals, cesarean, natural births, water breaking, all the things we will be hooked up to during labor, forceps, vacuum, hospital bags, breathing, insurance, what to expect from the doctors, pre clampsia you name it! Luckily we had a break and they had some food for us. Crazy this isn't too far away.
Update on myself: Recently I have been waking up with numb hands. Pretty sure it's carpel tunnel and should go away after pregnancy. We are going to confirm with the doctor on Wednesday during our next appointment. But I will say it's hard to cut hair with numb hands. I have had some Braxton Hicks but not many. It just feels like period cramping and your stomach gets really hard like. They are very short and not long. It just means we are closer to our little guy! That's about it. We will keep ya posted.
We are exited for him to finally be here. Also been wondering if he will look more like mommy or daddy!?!  We will see!
Let the 5 hour class begin!

31 weeks in this picture but close enough.

30 weeks!

HOLY CRAP! We have 10 weeks people! That is so nuts to me. Its creeping up so fast. Here is whats going on right now

CRAVINGS: Sweet potato fries, banana nut bread and chocolate covered raisins. Seriously guys I can't get enough.
SLEEPING: Not happening. I wake up so early and usually stay awake. Ugh.
SWELING: You should see my feet. They are huge. My fingers don't feel too swollen but my wedding ring doesn't fit 90% of the time. :(
KICKS: Baby boy kicks me all the time! I mean I love it but when it starts to hurt I'm not so much of a fan. Still kicks more for me then John.

Super quick update! Will keep ya posted

28 week update

Baby Update!
We had our 28 week doctors appointment this last Tuesday. Had to drink my orange glucose drink (for gestational diabetes) and it wasn't as bad as what everyone said. It kinda fizzled and burned the back of my throat but it wasn't as bad as I expecting. After you drink the stuff you can't eat afterwards. So we made an early appointment and so John could be there and so I could eat. They drew my blood first and said the results would come back 24-48 hours later. We then had to wait back in the the waiting room for them to call us back to see the doctor. Again we saw a different doctor this time. We like to meet them all so then the day we do deliver we have at least met all the doctors. We do have favorites but I'm sure all of them will do a fine job. Here are some results from the appointment

MEASURING: 28-29 WEEKS
HEARTBEAT: 140 BPM anything that's 117-160 BPM is healthy
WEIGHT: Every time I go in I actually turn around on the scale. I never want to look at the numbers because I don't want to get obsessed with gaining weight and what the scale says. I decided this time to ask and I have only gained 24 lbs! WHAT!! I was shocked. People in my family tend to again a lot of weight when pregnant so 24 made my jaw drop. Doctor said that 20-30 is healthy so I should gain 1/2 lbs to 1 lbs a week from here on out. Even if I do gain 10 more and end of 34 at the end I'm totally OK with that. As long as the baby is healthy I'm happy.
CLASSES: Next month we start our pre-natal classes! I'm excited! Getting ready for the delivery makes it even more real. Every one's delivery is different and who know when the time comes all these things we learn from the class could go out the door but I'm excited that we are this far that we can take them! EEE!

Oh also since the apt I got my results back about the gestational diabetes and all was normal! YAY!

There is a quick update for ya'll. Setting up the babies room this weekend. Will post when its all ready!

Robin Williams - You've never had a friend like me

Two days ago at work my client told me about the passing of Robin Williams. I didn't believe him at first. Robin made so many classics. To name some...

Hook
Jumanji
Good morning Vietnam
Genie in Aladdin
Mrs. Doubtfire
Mork and Mindy
Popeye
Flubber
Dead Poets Society
Birdcage
 and many many others

I think what also makes it hard is because everyone loves Robin Williams. I honestly don't know one person that doesn't like him. He is going to be greatly missed. Thanks for all the laughs!

Loving my stretch marks

Alright today I'm going to talk about the hated stretch marks. Its just my views and feelings on the subject and hope you enjoy reading.

At first I thought stretch marks were gross. They reminded me of those grass imprints you get when you sit on the grass for too long but purple and didn't go away. I didn't find them attractive and I didn't want one! Load me up on cocoa butter, coconut oil and any home remedy from Pinterest because I wasn't gonna get even one! Yeah right.

At 20 weeks I had one maybe two on the sides of my hips. Very small. Now that I'm 27 weeks I have gotten A LOT more. They are under my belly button area but they are there. I'm not sure if this is a normal area for stretch marks or not but that is where mine tend to be. Last night before my shower I noticed that they were in the shape of a heart. Guess what? I actually loved it! Hopefully that's not TMI but just the fact that my body can create a human is amazing! But seriously think about it. It can create a brain, a heart, fingers toes, etc its just blows in mind we have that ability.

Don't get me wrong I'm still going to use my lotions, oils and things but if they don't fade I'm not going to worry about it. I'm going to own it because bringing a beautiful, sweet loving child into the world is more important then some silly stretch mark. So with all that said I'm loving my stretch marks!

Just my thoughts on this lovely Monday. Hope you all have a great day!

These are a few of my favorite things

Rain drops on roses and whiskers on kittens....today I'm going to blog about a few of my favorite things. All pregnancy related. #fridayfavorites Enjoy!
1) Baby laughs- Seriously guys I can't help but smile when a baby laughs. It's so cute and you can't help but be in a good mood. There is just something about it. Can't wait to hear our little guys giggle :)

2) Baby clothes- This is a dangerous one!  Mini man clothes get me every time. They are so tiny and so cute! It's hard to not resist it's cuteness!
I mean guys look at these mini shoes? We had to get them so we did :)

3)Baby kicks- Love them unless it's 3 AM and I'm trying to sleep. But its fun to think he can react to music and our voices. Always crazy when he does it's like "IT'S ALLLIVE!" Nuts to think there is an actual human inside.

Those are just some of mine. What are your guises #fridayfavorites?

Pregnancy Update

So I haven't been updating the blog on the pregnancy but I have been writing it all down in a journal. For me every little thing is new and exciting but I don't wanna bore you with all 6 1/2 months of details. But I will give you a quick update right now. I promise I will keep it short and sweet.

Baby boy is the most active little man ever! He kicks like crazy and I love it. Unless I'm trying to sleep. Apparently 3 AM is a great time to kick Mom! I'm usually up by 6 AM  to eat and I stay up. Clothes are getting much harder to wear. I'm growing out of everything! It's a love hate relationship really. Nothing fits but that also means shopping! My charlie horses have calmed down. Thanks Goodness! No one told me about them so they came on as a complete surprise. They are totally normal and they totally suck. Swelling depends on they day. Days its down I can still wear my wedding ring but other days my fingers feel like bananas. Speaking of bananas I eat...like I swear every hour. But if  I'm not eating I'm in the bathroom. They weren't kidding when they said you pee ALL the time when pregnant. No lie there. Not 100% set on a name. It changes....like a lot. Well there you have it. Little update on baby boy and Momma!

There you go guys! Have a fabulous rest of summer!

Happy 4th of July!

Our fourth started with the Provo Freesom Festival. We caught the end of the parade then walked around to all the booths. Of course we had to get a Texas Twister!
It was not even noon and was getting super hot! The drink was perfect to cool us off. We were getting hungry and was craving some BBQ so we headed to this place called Cubby's. We have seen it before but have never actually went. And OMG it was DEVINE!! We both had a dragonslayer burger and buffalo bleu cheese fries which are our new weakness!
We then went home and took a very well needed nap and watched some Cake Boss: Next Great Baker. After that we headed to Spanish Fork to see Shelly and Jay. Patrick was heading out for work so we saw him just for a little. We then headed to my parents in Draper. Grandpa Triplett was there and it was so nice to visit him! Teresa and Emma were sick so we didn't see Teresa but Emma was feeling better and spent some time with us. Lincoln and Phoenix are there while Natalie and Sheridan are fishing up in Idaho. We love seeing those kids they are adorable! We took Jake,Anya,Lincoln and Phoenix over to the near by park as well. Pheonix loved the swings! We then all hung out outside and watched the Bevan's shoot off fireworks. They definately went to Wyoming haha! We headed home so we could beat the Stadium of Fire traffic. On our way home we probably saw 30 firework shows at once. It was so cool! Overall it was a great fourth!

It's a......

BOY!!!
Yesterday we found out the gender for baby Webster! Teresa and Shelly were there as their Mother's Day gifts. Our apt was at 11:30 with this awesome tech Kayla. She layed me down and got me all prepped and John held my hand on the other side. She was looking at a small computer screen which is wired to a big screen we were all looking at. She measures his head first, takes a look at his side profile then down to his feet and then BAM all manhood exposed! He wasn't shy at all! She then went step by step in great detail each part of his little body. Hemispheres of his brain, heart chambers, arteries in the umbilical cord, hips, kidneys you name it! She took lots of pictures and was very detailed and answered all our questions. Best part was when we first looked at his side profile he was air fist pumping at us! Haha so funny! He is 12 oz with a heartbeat at 141 bpm. He is measuring 2 days earlier then we thought but the doctor (Dr Thorp) said we will keep 11/10 as the same due date unless it becomes a 10 day difference. He does have a small calcium buildup on his little heart on one chamber which is an indication of possible Down Syndrome. All my blood/lab results have been normal so that chances of him having Down Syndrome is 1/800. Down Syndrome or not we love him the same! During the ultrasound he was super wiggly! Very active and kept crossing his little ankles and fist pumping! Sssoooo cute! No matter what gender John would be happy but now that he is having a SON he is even more pumped! We are so excited and can't wait for November to come!
Doesn't he have the cutest nose ever! We sure do love you baby boy!

Mothers Day

Of course like all our holidays we ran around trying to visit all our families. It actually turned out to be a very fun relaxing day!
First we headed up to my parents to have a brunch at Alpine Country Club and had some presents. Grandma and Grandpa Hatch were there and of course and Jake,Emma and Anya.
The club have the women roses that I must say were gorgeous! It was the pretty yellow pinkish kind that smelled amazing!
After eating we headed to another part of the clubhouse and did some presents. John and decided to invite his mom Shelly and  Teresa to our gender ultrasound for they Mothers Day gifts. Teresa was excited to experience an ultrasound (because she hasn't before) and to find out the gender of our little babe. I gave Grandma a sweet card just telling her all the wonderful qualities and things we love about her. My parents then gave me and beautiful Simon Dewey  painting that is just breathtaking! They also typed up a poem to go along from Baby Webster. Here is the painting
It's already up and haning! We love it so much!
After my parents we headed to Spanish Fork for some of course more food! Shelly was way excited for the gender ultrasound! This will be her first grandbaby so she is pretty excited for everything which we love! We had dinner and I remember we had some delicious potatoes!!!! For dessert Jay made this fruit salad that I probably could have eaten a gallon full!
Overall my first Mothers Day was great and excited for the more to come!

John's 26th Birthday!

Happy Birthday John!

John turned 26 on Saturday and I was lucky enough to have the day off to spend with him! I made John pancakes on the infamous You are Special today red plate. Then we went to City Creek and had some yummy Red Iguana lunch then did some damage shopping. We didnt find much although I found a darling purse and earrings from Forever 21. We then wanted to head back so we had time to change before dinner that night but the next train left in 9 mins and we weren't gonna make it. So we had to wait an hour and a half for the next train which barely gave us any time before dinner. Haha. So we got home just an hour before dinner, grabbed some balloons and headed to Buffalo Wild Wings to meet with some friends for dinner. Carolyn,Colton,Brooke and Kris all came. It was super fun! We then headed back to our apartment and just hung out. It was a fun day! Also on Friday we had John's bday dinner with his family. I will include those pictures too! Enjoy!

Dear Baby Webster

Dear Baby Webster
Today we got to hear the sound of your heartbeat. It was strong and beautiful. It was emotional for daddy and I. It made everything much more real! We can't wait to finally meet you in November! We love you so much! XOXO

To love like they do

The past few weeks I have been spending a lot of time with the Clapier side. My cousin Bret got married tonight so lots of family gatherings! His reception was beautiful!
Congrats Bret! We love you!

Other things on my mind....

My one cousin Kecia has 6 beautiful girls, 2 of them have Down Syndrome. Bree is their biological and Mia is adapted from the Ukraine. Although they adopted Mia when she was older (4 I beleive) it feels like she has always been apart of the family. I get emotional when I think of these two sweet girls. Their love they show and acceptance of people is truly genuine and Christlike. I can only hope to learn to love like these girls can.
"They are closer to Christ then we think. Maybe we are the ones missing the extra chromosome" -Jess Clapier

The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is that little bit of extra.

Xoxo Megan

R•E•D

So recently I have been obsessing over strawberry blonde\red hair. Been thinking about coloring mine but scared too! Red is hard to remove from your hair so if I don't like it it's gonna be a pain to remove. Hhhmmmm decisions decisions

Utah Jazz

Tonight we went to the Jazz game with Brooke and Kris Bishop! It was fun to take the front runner train and attend the game! They haven't been on front runner before so it was an experience for them. It's nice to take a train instead of driving! Also john has a free front runner pass from work so he gets to ride for free! Whoop whoop! Who doesn't like free?!?
