Utah Jazz

Tonight we went to the Jazz game with Brooke and Kris Bishop! It was fun to take the front runner train and attend the game! They haven't been on front runner before so it was an experience for them. It's nice to take a train instead of driving! Also john has a free front runner pass from work so he gets to ride for free! Whoop whoop! Who doesn't like free?!?

Wrap It Up

Have you guys been seeing those turban headbands on Pinterest? I have and love them! I think they are so cute and easy especially on your bad hair days! Here is what you need:
•Old t shirt x-large worked best but I have a massive head
•Scissors that will cut through fabric
Cut a thick strip off the bottom of your shirt
Next turn your strip into the number 8
Grab one side and flip to join the other side

Pull and WA-LA! You have your self a turban headband!
Hope you enjoy your headband as much as I do!

Xoxo

DIY

Thank heaven for Pinterest! That website sucks me right in! Love all the pins they have for food, decorating, clothes but the one I'm drawn to the most is DIY! I have always felt like a crafty person but never nearly as close to all the cute crafty things on Pinterest! My moms side of the family have some pretty crafty ladies so Im trying to keep up with them! John and I have had this table in the living room that was just getting trashed. It was looking drab so we made it into an ottoman. There wasn't an exact pin for the ottoman we made so we just sorta looked up a few and thought "Ptsh we got this!" Here is our before and after
We love it! After we made it we didn't wanna use it cause we were worried about getting it dirty from our feet. Haha but now we use it all the time. John helped out a lot so grateful he is willing to help me in all my Pinterest endeavors. I also made a wreath. It turned out so cute!
We zipped tied it to the door just in case. Johns idea and I find it genius!

Our next DIY Iam sure will be sometime soon! Stay tuned!

Vroom Vroom!

So John has found a new love for cars. He loves doing auto body stuff on them and has gotton very talented in that area. He is always working on his and keeping up to date with the new best thing. Well since I have been working at SportClips I see lots of I guess you can say manly commercials since all we watch is ESPN all day long. So I saw a commercial for an Auto Show Expo at the South Towne Expo Center. I thought to myself "DONE!! John would love that!!" So I told John about the idea and he was all over it! We went and I have to admit they had some pretty sweet cars! They had everyday normal cars to old fashioned classics to super fast no way we could ever afford cars! It was so fun to see John's face light up with each new car! He was like a kid in a candy store Ha! Here are some pictures and a video of that day!

Anya and Emma's Baptism Day!

So my 2014 goal was to blog more so here Iam updating you all on January!

My twin sisters Emma and Anya turned eight in December and were baptized on New Years Day! It was at the church by the house that morning. John and I went to the house early so I could do the girls hair and John help with the font. Natalie,Lincoln and Phoenix were in town so it was fun having them there as well! The baptism was beautiful and I'm happy they made such a good decision. My dad did the baptisms and John was part of the conformation. So blessed for the preisthood! Here are a couple pictures from that fun day!
