Yesterday we found out the gender for baby Webster! Teresa and Shelly were there as their Mother's Day gifts. Our apt was at 11:30 with this awesome tech Kayla. She layed me down and got me all prepped and John held my hand on the other side. She was looking at a small computer screen which is wired to a big screen we were all looking at. She measures his head first, takes a look at his side profile then down to his feet and then BAM all manhood exposed! He wasn't shy at all! She then went step by step in great detail each part of his little body. Hemispheres of his brain, heart chambers, arteries in the umbilical cord, hips, kidneys you name it! She took lots of pictures and was very detailed and answered all our questions. Best part was when we first looked at his side profile he was air fist pumping at us! Haha so funny! He is 12 oz with a heartbeat at 141 bpm. He is measuring 2 days earlier then we thought but the doctor (Dr Thorp) said we will keep 11/10 as the same due date unless it becomes a 10 day difference. He does have a small calcium buildup on his little heart on one chamber which is an indication of possible Down Syndrome. All my blood/lab results have been normal so that chances of him having Down Syndrome is 1/800. Down Syndrome or not we love him the same! During the ultrasound he was super wiggly! Very active and kept crossing his little ankles and fist pumping! Sssoooo cute! No matter what gender John would be happy but now that he is having a SON he is even more pumped! We are so excited and can't wait for November to come!
Doesn't he have the cutest nose ever! We sure do love you baby boy!
